An extra boost on GEKA's path to seccess: The organizational merger of our sales office in New Jersey with the Elgin manufacturing plant in Illinois has been completed. By combining our forces, we are continuing the strategic expansion of our activities in the USA. We are now operating at full service under the name of GEKA Manufacturing Corp. and driving our manufacturing expertise in the USA forward with total determination. For our American customers, this means shorter distances, faster response times and greater proximity to the market.
Since the launch in September 2008, we have increased our production figures more than six-fold and by 2013 will be well over the 100 million mark for items produced.
More efficiency, more power, more freedom: We are also expanding our portfolio and will be offering decoration and surface finishing in the U.S. On the whole, our expansion has moved into the fast lane. After all, we just began production in Elgin, with an injection molding line and a packaging assembly line, at the end of 2008.
