Our solutions have one thing in common: powerful and successful technology platforms with which we can bundle our expertise threefold. First of all, this is in the design and manufacture of applicators with injection molded, delicate micro-bristle geometries. Secondly, this is in the knowledge of materials and their relationships for the necessary compatibility and performance.

MOLTRUSION®

BEYOND INJECTION MOLDING

With the Moltrusion® process, we revolutionized the brush market: the patented, groundbreaking combination technique of injection molding and extrusion blow molding provides extraordinary soft bristles that are comparable with conventional extruded fibers.

Benefits of Moltrusion®:

We process a broad range of plastics for our customers, producing accurately fitting packaging systems and applicators in the healthcare industry. Our high-performance machinery, molds and hot runner systems are designed for manufacturing bottles with injection blow molding as well as caps, thread parts, wipers and applicators with injection molding. In order to meet the needs of very diverse application areas with customized products, we offer a great variety of forming technologies, especially for applicators:

1K Technology:

Applicators are made from one type of plastic, are thus extremely hygienic and also available with micro-bristles.

2K Technology:

Using two types of plastics, the softer material is injected around a hard core – for precise application combined with pleasantly soft bristles.

MOLTRUSION®:

This method bonds two plastics together. First of all, a hard, hollow core is injected followed by the second, soft material, which penetrates through the core created by the first component in a controlled, extrusion-like manner at exactly defined places. The result: extremely flexible bristles on a sturdy handle for especially hygienic applications.

SANDWICH:

This method also involves bonding two types of plastic together – the soft bristle material is injected first, directly followed by the harder component.
The result: a sturdy core with especially soft bristles.

As a specialist recognized worldwide for manufacturing different types of brushes, we have revolutionized the cosmetics industry with many of our developments. Our key competence: twisted wire brushes - with our own fiber production and patented fibers.
