In 2004, we were the pioneer in the area of molded brushes.
As a very early bird, we revolutionized the market and and were able to produce a marketable mascara product.
Today, we produce molded brushes using three different, injection molding processes. With each method we achieve outstanding precision, consistent quality and impressive results – thanks to production using intelligent high-tech tools. Until today, we have successfully marketed more than 2 billion molded brushes.
We are the first supplier worldwide having all manufacturing technologies for molded brushes available to use freely. We own the patents for manufacturing bi-injecting brushes via our Sandwich technology and the technology branded as Moltrusion™. This makes us a really strong partner for molded brushes in the liquid cosmetics industry.

One-Component
Technology
Our one-component injection moulding technology allows us to produce mascara brushes in one step from a single material which we ourselves developed in-house exclusively for this purpose.
Our customer specifying the brush color, form and flexibility depending on application purpose.
An especially innovative design are our disc brushes. And the combination of discs and bristles gives mascara wearers clearly defined eyelashes in impressive length.

Two-Component
Technology
Production processes patented by GEKA open increasing opportunities for design, uniqueness, and filigree quality.
Our process uses two components in a single machine. The rigid core is made first, and then the soft elastomer for shaping the bristles is injected around it. This results in absolute precision and a super-soft application feeling.

A Process That Has Set the Standards
MoltrusionTM Technology
Revolutionary and close to exclusive! A hollow core is produced first, afterwards the bristles are forced through the core under high pressure. This results in filigree bristles that sit tightly and securely on a stable, thin core. This patented molded brush manufacturing process has once again revolutionized the cosmetics industry, up to now it is still patented in some countries.
The MOLTRUSIONTM process allows for extremely flexible bristles that are ideal for application on long, full and seductively curved eyelashes. Brands can select the brush design from a series of designs registered in design, as with all of our injection-molded processes. Choosing a different color creates an additional design feature. We develop and manufacture the tools used individually for each customer.

Bi-Injection Process
Sandwich Technolgy
This innovative two-shot technology is the answer for all, that recognize molded brushes as too hard and too stiff during the application compared to fiber brushes. The SANDWICH technology works with two different plastic materials – a soft one for the bristles and a harder one for the core. Thus, the brush becomes firm and provides great control for an exact application result.
By playing with 4 different shore degrees within the same brush design, the makeup performance can be modified as desired. The two components of the brush allow to have two-colored variations even having transparent bristles – a great possibility to differentiate on the market and to add branding value to the brush.
