Geka completes independent carbon footprint assessment
Cosmetics packaging and accessories manufacturer Geka has completed an independent verification of its carbon footprint in a bid to find opportunities to help reduce its CO2 emissions.
Germany-based TÜV NORD’s CO2 inventory certificate assessed four Geka sites in Germany, the US and Brazil. The process calculated the facilities’ carbon emissions from fuel and energy consumption (gas, diesel, district heating, propane, electricity and company vehicle fuel consumption), as well as energy emissions upstream and from business travel. The assessment provides Geka with an overview of the company’s current emissions.

Mit unserer Bottle-in-bottle Marble Mascara haben wir bei der Cosmopack in Bologna den “The Wall” Award in der Kategorie Technologie gewonnen! Die Bottle-in-bottle Marble Mascara besteht aus zwei Flaschen für einen hochwertigen dickwandigen Effekt.
Dabei weist die äußere Flasche fließende marmorierte Schlieren mit drei Farben aus dem Trend-Briefing des Wettbewerbs auf. Die Farben werden direkt während des Spritzguss-Prozesses beigemischt und erzielen einen extra Tiefeneffekt. Zwei der Farben schimmern zudem metallisch. Geka continue d’adapter son portefeuille de produits et dévoile un nouvel ensemble de produits cosmétiques conçus pour que les routines beauté du matin deviennent un jeu d’enfant.
Baptisé FOR ME Care Collection, le nouvel ensemble comprend six applicateurs destinés à couvrir toutes les étapes de base d’une routine beauté : soin de la peau, correcteur, mascara, gel pour sourcils, huile pour les lèvres, rouge liquide pour lèvres, ainsi que sérum pour les cils. Les produits sont présentés dans une pochette en cuir végan doux avec une paire de mini pinces à épiler.
