Our filling service reduces the complexity in the value-creation chain and provides cost-effective solutions with outstanding time-to-market. One-stop shopping at GEKA means packaging, formulation, filling, and accessories, all from a single source. The streamlined production and coordination process reduces transport requirements and shortens delivery times in the fast-moving cosmetics market.
The in-house filling service, which was established at the GEKA headquarters in Bechhofen, Germany, in 2011, offers an annual capacity of ten million filled units per year. Comprising state-of-the-art machines and an integrated laboratory, the automated system ensures seamless operation. The filling facility can handle high to low viscosity bulks, catering for a variety of units such as mascara, eyebrow products, liquid eye shadow, and eyeliner.
At our facility in North America, we offer the filling service for mascara only. In 2019, a fully automatic filling machine with the latest technology was installed, offering a filling capacity of 15 million mascara units per year.
